Updates on Transitional Housing

This year, St. Mary’s Franciscan Shelter will be breaking ground on the new Transitional Housing project. Families successfully completing our 2-3 month emergency program will be eligible to reside in one of our four apartments for 18-24 months. In this temporary and supportive housing, residents are expected to move from financial instability to financial independence by remaining employed, saving money, setting goals, and actively working to achieve those objectives.

There are many items that are still needed at the Shelter to support this project. Your generous donation will help furnish our transitional housing apartments, pay for supplies to support our day-to-day operation, and provide personal case management and on-site coaching in order to support our families in reaching their goals.

The ache for home lives in all of us,
The safe place where we can go as we are
And not be questioned.
